​​Wellness Center

At The Pet Sitter's Wellness Center, located at 4852 Sand Road in Iowa City, our goal is to provide a positive, enriching experience for pets and their people in as low stress an environment as possible.  

The 9,000 square foot facility has 3 outdoor areas, 2 indoor areas, and a swimming program.  Kennels at the center are large, clean and safe enclosures.  Our experienced staff is on site 24 hours a day working with the animals in our care from 7 AM to 9 PM.  We recommend you come out for a tour.  

You are welcome to stop in anytime between 9 AM to 7 PM.  If we are busy with animals, we will need you to wait until we can take care of them.  If you would like to avoid a wait, we are happy to schedule a time for a tour.  Please get in touch with a us with a few times that work well for you and we can go from there.

​Dog Walking

Long days at work? Puppy in the house? Older dog needs a break during the day? A scheduled walk can be just what your dog needs. This service could also provide you with a needed break. Our half hour visit is spent out in your neighborhood, getting good exercise and stimulation. Walks are paced to your dogs activity level and they are always kept on leash.

​In Home Care

We provide care for your pets in your home while you are away. Services are provided as half-hour visits throughout the day at a frequency to suit your pets' needs. While providing care we try to maintain your routines as much as possible. We focus on attention, affection and taking care of the basics: food, water, medications, exercise and lots of love. We are also happy to bring in mail and water houseplants.
